The midfielder was played in by Fabian Schar down the right-hand side of the box and hit his effort straight at Patricio, who should have done better but only diverted the ball into the back of the net with weak wrists.But it was the late equaliser which will make all of the headlines.Dubravka failed to deal with it and was beaten in the air by Willy Boly, who challenged fairly with the goalkeeper to head in and deny Benitez a crucial three points.

He may not have enjoyed a winning start, but the introduction of Miguel Almiron sparked scenes of wild jubilation amongst the 2,400 travelling Newcastle fans.The former Atlanta United midfielder joined for a club-record fee in January to much fanfare and the cheer form the visiting fans was huge.In the brief cameo he had, the youngster showed incredible pace and looked extremely sharp.
