And while manager Mauricio Pochettino has publicly backed his goalkeeper, The Sun reports that Tottenham scouts have watched Strakosha several times.The 24-year-old Albania international, valued at 35million, has impressed for the Serie A club this season.Meanwhile Lloris, 32, has been heavily criticised by pundits for his form this term. talkSPORT host Tony Cascarino believes Spurs must find a better goalkeeper if they want to win silverware.He said: “I will be surprised long term and I am talking into next season if Pochettino doesnt buy another goalkeeper.I dont think he is as good as what you need between the sticks to go and win things.2

Pochettino, however, has refused to criticise the Frenchman and confirmed he will retain his starting place against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.He is my captain, Pochettino told the media.
