Tottenham have pulled out the race to sign Wilfried Zaha to leave Arsenal and Manchester United battling for the Crystal Palace forward’s signature.Zaha has allegedly told Palace he wants to leave Selhurst Park this summer to secure a move to a club playing European football, and Tottenham are understood to have revived their long-standing interest in the 26-year-old.Zaha feels it’s time to take the step up to a bigger club after struggling the first time he left Palacegetty1

The Ivory Coast winger is a top target for many elite clubs after enjoying another fine season in which he scored 10 Premier League goals and created a further five, with Arsenal and Manchester United also reported to be keen on him.And it appears the Gunners will be battling United for Zaha’s signature this summer as Tottenham have ‘ended their interest’ in him. The Evening Standard say Spurs are unwilling to pay the 100million asking price Palace have set on Zaha, having initially baulked at last summer’s valuation of 70million.This leaves Arsenal at the front of the queue for Zaha, as they are understood to already be preparing an offer for him. However, they will have to seriously increase their 40million bid if they are to have any chance of capturing the forward this summer.

United are also believed to be in the running for Zaha, despite him failing to make an impact during his first spell at Old Trafford. He is open to returning to the Red Devils if they agree a deal with Palace for his signature, and could be reunited with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was his manager during a loan spell at Cardiff in 2014.
